Its been a long time in the "coming soon" stage, but it looks like they made the series official. 500m swim/5K run. On the 5th of each month starting in April. Sounds fun and fairly cheap. Hopefully, it works out better than the monthly bike TT series.

Hmmmm that looks pretty cool.  I can swim and I am getting faster on my run.  And Irving is on my way home from work.  Too bad the water there could kill you.    I may consider doing this though.  Are you in Stephen?

yep, I can fake swimming and running both enough to have fun. I'd like more practice in openwater race start melees, so I'm planning to at least do the April one.  its a thursday night.  May is a Saturday night, so I'll have to see what the coach says on that idea.

Sounds interesting! I might be game for the ones in June and July since wetsuits might not be needed...

Do you think there is an award for having your swim and your run time to be the same.  I might win that one.
